Introduced back in 2017, designers' David Tourniaire-Beauciel & Demna Gvasalias' once-pushy crossover of Street onto Couture immediately popularized other lines. Fashionable Balenciaga kcolorblocks quickly followed. The Triple S continues to rule fashion streetwear for color, collectibility and availability.
What we have here, courtesy of a Dallas retail buyer's closet, is a 2018
clean pair of very-low-wear Balenciaga Triple S sneakers colored in fairly conservative-to-poppin' Lime!
Hard to miss, the Triple S layering foot features striped laces, amorphous colored leather overlays. Seated over a vented polymer mesh foot and a deeply-carved eyecatching rim on a molded outsized nonskid rubber sole. Balenciaga in the mold and signature size on the toe.
Clean cushiony fine canvas ankle wrap, notable Balenciaga "muscle" grip interior (see Fit Note below), clean insoles. No original packaging, shoes only.
FIT NOTE: the Triple S is a muscular shoe, read up first. Famous for molding internally for support, these fit about a size smaller as a result. Sized 44 here (11), test fit is more a 10, or 9 in UK. Standard B width. Definitely an Event, rather than all-day, shoe.
