Yohji Yamamoto is a Japanese fashion designer based in Tokyo and Paris. Considered a master tailor, he is known for his avant-garde tailoring featuring Japanese design aesthetics. This was part of the first collaboration between a high end designer and a sportswear brand.
Never Worn Vintage Yohji Yamamoto Adidas Men's Size 12.5 Sneakers. From 2002 Fall Winter collection. I have included photos which are a similar look and around the same season so you can see how to wear. But I am pretty certain because of when I bought them and the sneaker tag says 07/02. I am size 12 and they fit just right as Adidas runs a little bit smaller. Leather and fur (maybe cow?) or fake fur. I have been wearing another color of the same model and I can attest that they are very comfortable. I originally purchased these on Yoox and if I recall I paid between $150-200. These have been stored well with silica gel. If you like the Yohji Yamamoto avant-garde, post-punk, gothic look then this is for you. And it is well preserved vintage at a great price.
