1990 LA Gear X Michael Jackson Smooth Criminal Shoes Sz 6.5 Vintage
L.A. Gear Unstoppable White and Black Leather Sneakers. Model Moon: 'Smooth Criminal' - Series 6158 W/BK. They have the famous MJJ feet logo on the front and on the side parts as a little metal pin. These shoes are similar to the ones Michael worn in the 1990 commercial. Michael signed a deal in 1990 with this US sports company to produce a line of sports featured shoes with his name. They were made in Korea for US market where LA Gear had its main seats. Another line was made for Japanese market which included various t-shirts, socks, sweaters and other items, totally different from the US line. Michael launched a very nice promotional campaign in 1990 which included 2 commercials where he and some of his nieces/nephews acted as guest star
