Riding sneakers combine the freedom of sneakers with the function and protection of boots. Moto sneakers are designed to shift with riders, from their motorcycle to urban life, and back. Versatile is the word, with subtle branding, and a rugged high-top sneaker silhouette, these sneakers are built for the ride, and the street. Made with full-grain leather and a smooth rounded toe, the Bateman provides a defense against the elements, flying debris, and abrasion. The ankles are also enhanced with purposefully placed ankle protection inserts to shield against impact. In summary, the Bateman boot is built specifically for the ride. Enhanced with specific features and materials that benefit the rider’s comfort, safety, and experience, you’ll reach for these boots often. The boots feature conventional lacing and all the eyelets are metal. A button-like Bar & Shield® logo sits on the ankle, where the ankle insert resides. The padded tongue has a silver and grey Bar & Shield® sewn-on at the top. A pull-on loop aids in donning. The street-side outsole features grippy tread elements and a Bar and Shield® logo in inserted into the instep. The outsole is made of distressed rubber, for a “been there” look. The boot's sole, insole and upper are bound using state-of-the-art cement construction processes. With an abrasion, oil, and slip resistance rubber outsole, these boots are ready for anything.
