Re-imagining adidas‘s classis Superstar, Yohji Yamamoto presents the Smooth Model Hi. Pairing a smooth version of the Superstar’s signature rubber shell toe with a high-top upper of luxurious tumbled black leather, the otherwise simple kicks sport a unique rubber heel counter with a branded nylon overlay – thus giving the design a decidedly futuristic aesthetic on par with that of other Y-3 silhouettes.
