(DS W/ BOX) 2006 Nike Air Max 90 Cherries LV Takashi Murakami, Size US 14W/12.5M (VERY RARE) Among the vast selection of Air Max releases that adorned the 2000s big and small, lies this largely forgotten yet very peculiar pair that has grown impossibly hard to find in any condition: let alone in a large size like this being deadstock with the box. Now you might be wondering what's the connection between these Air Max 90s and Takashi Murakami. In the mid-2000s, there was a popular collaboration between Murakami and the fashion giant LV with his cherries artwork and the pieces that the two fashion giants created are still sought-after to this day. That being said: while this pair is not an official Murakami collaboration with Nike, this is definitely a nod to the LV Murakami aesthetic and was truly a sign of the times. These beauties are completely deadstock, still with factory laces and even come with the old-school arch inserts! The box has been battered from age, but is hanging on. The only major defect that I can report is that a crack has formed on the medial front side of the right shoe's midsole. This defect is simply unavoidable with PU midsoles of this age, and these will only be wearable with a soleswap restoration. Whatever happens to these if you decide to wear them without a soleswap is not my responsibility and you will NOT be refunded. You've been warned.
